Kaenon, a premium sunglass brand, started in 2001 with a new lens technology paired with unique California-inspired frame designs.

Since its beginning, Gath Design established the branding and kept evolving it for the next 15 years, keeping it looking fresh year over year.


Kaenon’s lineup of product spans many categories – active lifestyle, limited editions and special collections, among others. The task to create one packaging system that was uniform, yet varied to accommodate every product category while maintaining a cohesive look was no small task. The solution was to literally think outside the standard box and create a modular box system that is capable of growing with the brand.


Retail point of purchase, product catalogs, print advertising, stationery and more were developed to promote the Kaenon brand.
